Priority service for serious collectors.

Three tiers built around how our most-engaged clients actually use us. Priority scheduling measured in hours, not weeks. Discounted labor that compounds across a year of service. Included storage, concierge transport, and access to the people who run your cars. Membership is invitation-reviewed — not open enrollment — and capped so we never dilute it.

Not a loyalty card. Not a punch list of perks.

We started the Apex Club in 2014 after a decade of watching our best clients — the ones with three, five, twelve significant cars in rotation — navigate around our schedule instead of with it. They'd call in April for a service we couldn't fit until June. They'd drive themselves to pick up a GT3 because the transporter was booked for someone else's Cullinan. They'd pay retail labor on their fourteenth engine-out.

That was a failure of our process, not theirs. If you're sending us eight services a year across a fleet, you deserve a schedule, a rate, and a relationship that reflects that. The Apex Club is our answer — a structured way to give our most-engaged clients the service they'd already earned informally, with explicit terms instead of ad-hoc favors.

"Every benefit in the Apex Club started as something we were already doing for a specific client. We just wrote it down, made it consistent, and put a price on it so nobody has to wonder whether they're welcome to ask." — Rick Halloran, Founder

Membership has never been purely about money. The Enthusiast tier exists for the client with one or two significant cars who values predictable scheduling. The Connoisseur tier is for the serious collector with a rotating fleet of five to ten cars. The Collector tier — capped at 24 memberships total across our client base — is for the owner whose entire program we effectively manage: storage, transport, event coordination, pre-purchase inspections on prospective acquisitions, the whole operating rhythm of a meaningful automotive life.

We review applications personally. Roughly half our inbound inquiries become members; the other half receive our sincere recommendation that standard service is a better fit for their pattern of use. Nobody's turned away for lack of prestige — they're turned away because the tier wouldn't earn back its cost for them, and we'd rather say that honestly than take the fee.

Choose the operating cadence that matches your fleet.

All tiers are annual. All tiers include the same diagnostic priority, the same factory certifications, the same parts policies. What scales with tier is responsiveness, rate reduction, and included services — particularly storage, transport, and event coordination.

Three member perspectives, three tiers.

★ Enthusiast · Member since 2022
"I have a Cayman GT4 and an AMG GT — that's my whole car situation. I joined Enthusiast because I was tired of calling three weeks out for an oil change and being told next month. Now I call and Rick puts me on the calendar within a week. The 10% on labor more or less pays for the membership. The rest is quality of life."

♦ Connoisseur · Member since 2019
"I keep seven cars — four here, three up in Greenwich. The 48-hour scheduling is the benefit I didn't know I needed. Before Connoisseur, I'd plan a GT3 track weekend six weeks out and cross my fingers the car would be ready. Now I text Marco on a Tuesday and the car is prepped by Friday. It removed a friction I'd just learned to live with."

★ Collector · Member since 2015
"I was one of the first twelve Collector members. At this point, Apex runs my whole car program. Storage, concierge, show transport, the PPI on everything I buy. My accountant prices out our total annual automotive spend and the Apex labor discount alone pays for Collector three times over. What I actually pay for is the capacity — knowing they'll always have time."

Questions we usually get before applying.

Everything below has been asked by an actual prospective member in the last twelve months. If your question isn't here, Rick or James will answer it personally on your application call — no gatekeeping.

Is the Apex Club actually capped, or is that marketing language?

+

Collector is hard-capped at 24 memberships, and we mean it. As of April 2026 we have 12 active Collector memberships and review 3-5 applications per year. We've turned down qualified applicants when the cap was full — most recently in 2023, when we redirected two excellent candidates to Connoisseur with the option to upgrade as spots open.

Connoisseur is soft-capped around 60 — we've never actually hit the ceiling, and if we did we'd expand capacity rather than turn members away, but we won't let it grow past the point where scheduling commitments become unreliable. The whole value proposition breaks if we oversell. Enthusiast is uncapped because its benefits don't strain our capacity the way Connoisseur and Collector do.

What happens if I join and realize I'm at the wrong tier?

+

You can upgrade mid-year — we prorate the difference and extend your term. You can also downgrade at renewal if the higher tier is more than you need; we'll tell you honestly if we see your usage dropping. A few times per year, someone upgrades in February and spends the rest of the year wondering why they waited. Once or twice a year, we'll suggest a downgrade because the client isn't using their benefits and a lower tier makes more sense for them.

We don't lock you in. The model only works if membership makes sense for you, not just for us.

Does membership carry across my whole fleet, or is it per car?

+

Per member, not per car. Your Connoisseur or Collector tier applies to every vehicle you own or regularly drive, including new acquisitions. If your son drives your Cayman twice a month, he gets member treatment when he brings it in. If your wife's Range Rover needs service, it's covered.

There's one edge case: commercial vehicles, fleet-titled exotics, and rental-use cars don't qualify. This has come up maybe four times in a decade.

Is there really an application review, or does anyone with the annual fee get in?

+

There's a real conversation, but it's not a screening in the exclusive-club sense — it's a fit conversation. Rick or James will spend 20-30 minutes with you on the phone or in person, understanding your fleet, your cadence of use, and what you're trying to solve. Roughly half of applicants become members. The other half hear from us that a tier would be overspending for their pattern — we'd rather lose the revenue than sell you a tier you won't use.

The only hard disqualifier is pattern: if you bring us a car once every three years, no tier benefits you. If you're racing exotics commercially, we don't fit. If you'd need us to be your sole liability carrier for a $40M rotating collection, we'd refer you to a specialist that's better sized for that. Beyond that, we say yes more than we say no.

How does the labor discount actually work on a mixed bill?

+

Every invoice separates labor and parts. Your discount is applied to the labor subtotal before tax. Parts are billed at OEM list or cost+20% (whichever is lower) — same policy for everyone, members and non-members. We don't inflate parts prices to offset discounts elsewhere.

On a typical $12,000 service that's $8,400 labor plus $3,600 parts, a Connoisseur saves $1,260 — about 10% on total, but 15% on the labor portion. Over a year of services, this compounds quickly. A member with a 5-car rotation sending us 8-10 services annually typically saves $6-14k at Connoisseur, $9-22k at Collector.

What if I want a tier benefit that's not included in mine?

+

Everything is available à la carte at member rate. Enthusiasts can use our storage at $625/week, concierge beyond their two round-trips, or an extra detail — all priced as add-ons. If you find yourself regularly buying add-ons, we'll suggest upgrading at renewal (or mid-year, prorated).

The tiers aren't gatekeeping what you can access; they're defining what's bundled vs. what's billed separately. Nobody's ever told "sorry, you'd need to be a Collector for us to do that."

Can I put my collection in Apex Club storage without being a member?

+

Yes — storage is a standalone service at $525-1,150/month per bay depending on vehicle size, available to any client. Membership gives you included storage weeks (2 / 6 / 12 weeks per year by tier) plus reduced rates beyond that.

Many clients start with standalone storage, add Enthusiast membership after a year when they see the cadence, and upgrade from there. We don't bundle-lock anything.

Is there a multi-year discount for the Collector tier?

+

Two-year Collector commitment is $78,000 instead of $84,000 — saves 7%. Three-year is $115,000 instead of $126,000 — saves 8.7%. We don't offer longer commitments because we'd rather you recommit annually and know you're getting your money's worth.

The multi-year option mainly exists for Collectors who plan major acquisitions or builds across a 2-3 year window. For most members, annual renewal is the right call.

The right pattern finds the right tier.

Submit your details — fleet size, vehicles, cadence, primary services you'd use. Rick or James will call you within two business days for a 20-minute conversation. If membership is a fit, we'll walk through enrollment. If not, we'll tell you that honestly and you'll have a standing standard-service relationship with us either way.
